Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric aircraft that can carry four passengers while producing minimal noise.
Job Responsibility:
Help build aircraft subsystems integration test labs
Read wiring diagrams, schematics, and have the ability to understand common electrical symbols and components
Repair and replace aircraft subsystem components in a lab environment
Maintain lab documentation for lab modifications, repairs and upgrades
Inspect the work of other technicians to ensure quality and conformity with design specifications
Assist in troubleshooting subsystems integration issues
Fabricate and ring-out wiring harnesses for testing / debugging purposes
Follow proper working techniques for cleanliness, reliability and quality
Requirements:
2-3 years of experience as an electrical technician in aviation, aerospace or similar industry
Technical skills and expertise in avionics and aircraft subsystems operation and troubleshooting
Hands on experience cutting, splicing and crimping wires to fabricate a wide variety of harnesses types
Extreme attention to detail and high expectations for quality technical work
Ability to replace various subsystems components
A safety conscious mindset for ensuring the wellbeing of all working in the labs
Nice to have:
A&P License
Inspection Authorization (IA)
Experience with FAA type certification and conformal test setups
Familiarity with high voltage systems
