Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team supporting operations and maintenance activities on onshore wind farms in Norway. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of wind turbine electrical systems. This role requires compliance with Norwegian electrical regulations, including holding a valid DSB certification, and hands-on experience working with low voltage (LV) systems.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems on wind turbines and associated infrastructure
  • Diagnose and resolve faults on low voltage (LV) systems, including control circuits and auxiliary systems
  • Carry out planned and corrective maintenance in line with operational schedules
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with Norwegian regulations and DSB requirements
  • Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical components
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance turbine performance and reliability
  • Maintain accurate service reports and documentation
  • Adhere strictly to HSE policies and procedures, promoting a strong safety culture on site

Requirements:

  • Valid DSB certification (mandatory)
  • Proven experience working as an Electrical Technician, ideally within wind energy or similar industrial environments
  • Strong experience with low voltage (LV) electrical systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults independently
  • Good understanding of electrical safety standards and regulations in Norway
  • Ability to work at heights and in challenging weather conditions
  • Full, valid driving licence
