Job Description:

We are looking for an Electrical Technical Assistant to join a new engineering project. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills and basic electrical knowledge who is looking to grow within a dynamic project environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support electrical engineers with document preparation and tracking
  • Populate and manage data in engineering databases and internal systems
  • Assist in preparing material requisitions and updating progress reports
  • Extract and share technical comments and ensure deadlines are monitored
  • Maintain accurate documentation status and coordinate with discipline leads

Requirements:

  • Good organizational and administrative skills
  • Strong communication abilities for interacting with multidisciplinary teams
  • Basic technical knowledge in electrical engineering
  • Fluency in English
  • Proficiency with MS Office and Adobe Acrobat
  • Willingness and ability to quickly learn engineering software/tools

  • Create and maintain owner-facing documents such as Owner’s Manuals, supplemental guides, quick-start materials, and delivery documentation
  • Translate engineering specifications, diagnostic procedures, and product changes into accurate, technician-friendly instructions
  • Work with Engineering and Service Engineering to gather technical information, validate accuracy, and ensure clarity of all published materials
  • Create structured content that is consistent with Harbinger’s editorial standards, style guidelines, and service documentation processes
  • Build and manage documentation templates, ensuring repeatable, efficient workflows and consistent formatting across service publications
  • Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Warranty to ensure publications represent accurate safety, regulatory, and warranty information
