Job Description

An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Team Leader to support the development, build and maintenance of ground based laboratory test means within the Airbus Flight and Integration Test Centre in Filton. The Electrical Team Leader will be responsible for the successful development and maintenance of electrical systems within our portfolio of laboratory test means.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensure the maintenance of electrical systems on all laboratory test means is conducted, and that technical issues are resolved in a timely manner
  • Support the technical team in their day to day activities for design, maintenance, modification, integration, and build of new / existing laboratory test means
  • Lead the delivery of cost estimations and top level planning for new laboratory test means requests
  • Contribute to transnational working groups looking at new technologies and ways of working for the ‘Test Means of Tomorrow’

Requirements

  • Experience in team leadership to deliver on key objectives

  • Ensure effective deployment of the Multi-Skilled Electrical Team in actioning electrical related Planned & Reactive Maintenance & project works
  • Ensure all works are carried out safely and in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Regulations
  • Carry out survey works and prepare quotations as required by the client
  • Identify staff training needs and report to immediate manager for authorisation
  • Carry out quality checks of all works being carried out to ensure compliance with agreed standards
