Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of electrical installations on our vital water infrastructure projects. You will report directly to the M&E Manager/Lead Site Supervisor and be instrumental in supervising and controlling all electrical site activities, guaranteeing compliance with specifications, contract timelines, and the highest health and safety standards.

Job Responsibility:

Supervise site Electrical installations
Champion SHE standards
Verify new electrical systems
Monitor supply chain performance
Attend site inductions and toolbox talks
Provide support to Commissioning activities
Participate in collaborative planning meetings
Ensure adherence to electrical safety rules
Carry out electrical isolations
Conduct 121s with supply chain supervisors
Assist with project takeover documentation
Oversee electrical testing
Issue limitation of access permits
Maintain a daily diary of site activities

Requirements:

SSSTS or SMSTS
Appointed Person Status
FAAW
ECS card
C&G 2330 or 2360 in Electrical Installations
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations
IEE 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
2391 Test and Inspect - Preferred
