Job Description:

The Electrical Supervisor will directly manage electrical staff and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. They will oversee the site safety and work quality, maintain good relationships with clients and end customers, and promote and deliver full project management solutions. The Electrical Supervisor will ensure that adequate progress is made and provide support and training to staff. They will also work with the area manager to develop business opportunities. As a large, accredited Independent Connection Provider, you will help deliver operational, LV, and 11kV Network Connections.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee electrical staff and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Develop relationships with clients and other service providers
  • Promote and deliver full project management solutions
  • Manage projects to the highest environmental standards
  • Supervise day-to-day activities of electrical staff and provide on-site training and support
  • Deliver the project at the expected level of quality, performance, safety, and cost
  • Carry out on-site, operational, and quality audits
  • Provide electrical expertise and support to project managers and senior authorised persons
  • Ensure program continuity and visibility for all electrical staff

Requirements:

  • NRSWA Supervisor
  • Full UK driving license
  • Working experience in the electrical discipline and within the electricity distribution industry
  • Distribution Network Authorisation
  • Good communication skills and the ability to give and receive instructions
  • Knowledge of specification, design, maintenance, and construction of plant and apparatus, including control and protection equipment
  • Organisational skills
  • Project management skills, forecasting, and key resourcing planning
  • Interpersonal skills of communication, influencing, negotiation, persuasion, and diplomacy
