Ayers Rock Resort is searching for a FIFO Electrical Supervisor/Electrical Nominee to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT which is 20 min drive from Uluru, one of Australia's most iconic and culturally significant landmarks. We're seeking an Australian Qualified Advanced Electrical/ HVAC Supervisor for our trade team onsite within Yulara.
Job Responsibility:
Conduct weekly inspections of all electrical work performed by unrestricted electricians, restricted electricians, and electrical contractors to ensure compliance with standards
Verify all unrestricted and restricted electricians maintain current Northern Territory licensing requirements and complete required work orders and legislative documentation
Inspect and report on all Ayers Rock Resort electrical infrastructure, preparing and submitting condition reports to the General Manager and Director of Infrastructure
Collaborate with the Maintenance Planner to maintain an accurate and current electrical infrastructure database
Lead and supervise the Electrical team, providing technical guidance and direction for installation, testing, preventative maintenance, and repair of plant and equipment
Perform hands-on electrical maintenance work while overseeing team operations and contractor activities
Coordinate with the General Manager, Technical Services Maintenance Planner, and contractors to optimise resource allocation and prioritise maintenance and service program
Requirements:
Northern Territory unrestricted Electrical License, or ability to obtain without existing encumbrance
Successfully completed Electrical Contractors Course including units of competency UEEEL0040 and UEEEL0002
Open Driving license
Minimum 3 years' experience in an electrical supervisory role
Demonstrated experience as an Electrical Nominee
Proven experience in BMS operations and associated plant and equipment
Strong background in HVAC systems, including technology, work practices, fault investigation, and maintenance
