Job Description

Electrical Specialist III is a technical on-site opportunity supporting electrical operations with a strong focus on powerline work. This position is suited to a skilled professional with proven experience in installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems in a safety-critical environment. Electrical Specialist III offers the chance to contribute to reliable site operations while working closely with engineers, technicians, and other personnel. This Electrical Specialist III role will suit candidates who can combine hands-on electrical expertise with strong technical interpretation skills and a disciplined approach to safety.

Job Responsibility

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, with a focus on powerline infrastructure
  • Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other personnel to support electrical operations and maintenance activities
  • Diagnose electrical faults, implement corrective actions, and document completed work
  • Support project and maintenance work to meet required timelines and quality expectations
  • Ensure electrical systems comply with safety standards, codes, and company requirements
  • Follow strict safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and other required safety protocols

Requirements

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in electrical work, preferably including powerline systems
  • Proven experience installing, maintaining, and repairing complex electrical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
  • Strong understanding of electrical safety standards, codes, and best practices
  • Availability to work on-site at Kermit Haley Tower
