TPC Training (a Certus Company), the Nation’s leader in practical skills training for field technicians and maintenance workers, is looking for part time Electrical Safety Instructor. Candidates should have a strong Electrical Safety background with field experience in commercial and production environments.

Job Responsibility:

  • Instruct 2-25 students in a classroom or a virtual online setting, through the use of hands on activities and lecture
  • Travel
  • Use of MS Office products (PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and Excel)
  • Instruct on Electrical Safety Topics: Electrical Safety & the Qualified Electrical Worker, Electrical Hazards, Safety Related Work Practices, Safety Related Maintenance Requirements, Requirements for Special Safety Equipment, Electrical Safety Program

Requirements:

  • Field experience with NFPA 70E, 70B, and working knowledge of the NEC
  • Prior Safety Training instructor experience preferred
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Customer service mindset with ability and passion to share your knowledge and experience
  • Ability to travel
  • Ability to manage training support equipment up to 90 pounds
  • An associate’s degree or higher or a license/certification for the discipline

Nice to have:

Experience with virtual training via Zoom platform
