Our team is dedicated to maintaining high standards of service and excellence in every project we undertake. We are seeking an Electrical Project Manager to join our team. This role will control the overall operational delivery of a project (or part thereof), considering the safety, technical, commercial, and managerial requirements, from bid and pre-commencement through to successful practical completion and ensuring that profitability is maintained or improved through effective leadership, high-quality customer relations and management of relevant support functions allocated to the project.
Job Responsibility
Demonstrate strong Health and Safety leadership and compliance throughout all activities relating to the project
Support the Senior Management and central H&S team by delivering clear and consistent communications
Deliver projects in line with ISO and business processes
Participate in bid activities that support the sales and proposal team and processes
Manage pre-commencement activities in line with the business project delivery process
Supply chain engagement, maintaining relationships, and understanding escalation structures
Engagement with the commercial team to ensure subcontractor contracts and performance are implemented
Identify and manage project risks and opportunities
Lead the team to effectively manage the appointed specialist Sub-Contractors
Provide leadership for the project delivery team within the area of control
Provision of Customer Progress Reporting in a timely and regular manner
Provision of internal business reports and contract reviews
Proactively engaged with the Commercial team ensuring contractual matters are represented
Develop/maintain positive long-term relationships with customers
Lead project team to the safe and successful completion of the project
Manages and supports the effective use of company email
Represents the business and attends events
Initiates contact with customers to assess future needs
Operates as a subject matter expert in relevant areas of expertise
Prepares for and conducts employee performance reviews
Maintains/develops skills and team performance

Requirements
Leadership and people management

Sector and industry knowledge within Data Centre and associated services environment

Financial awareness of profit and loss and commercial costing
Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CITPM, CSCPM or local equivalents)
