Electrical Project Manager – Major Projects

• Collaborate with clients and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and develop project plans
• Conduct detailed site visits and assessments to determine project scope and identify potential challenges
• Prepare accurate and competitive project cost estimates, considering materials, labor, equipment, and other relevant factors
• Create comprehensive project proposals and bid packages for client submission
• Manage project budgets, ensuring effective cost control and adherence to financial targets
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services
• Schedule and organize project activities, ensuring efficient resource allocation and adherence to project timelines
• Supervise and lead project teams, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards
• Monitor project progress, track milestones, and prepare regular progress reports for clients and management
• Proactively identify and resolve project issues, risks, and conflicts to minimize disruptions and ensure smooth project execution
• Ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes, regulations, and industry standards

• Red Seal Electrician or Degree/Diploma in Engineering
• 3+ years of experience in an electrical project manager/estimator role
• Strong focus on safety standards
• Experience working on major projects across Canada or BC
