Job Description:

Apech Labs is a small business that supports the aerospace, military and energy industries through rapid prototyping and product development. Our core competencies include complex electromechanical systems, control systems, mechanisms, and power systems. We are passionate about bringing new technologies to the world and cannot get enough of the development process.

Job Responsibility:

Drive project cadence, interface with customers and suppliers
Manage the bill of material and procure piece parts
Design real-time embedded electronic assemblies through the integration of off-the-shelf hardware and custom circuit boards
Creation of circuit board layouts and drawings which may include microprocessors and/or FPGAs, analog circuitry, and motor drive circuitry
Creation of test plans, review, and processing of test data
Assemble and test both deliverable hardware and test equipment
Participate in operations planning and maintenance
Machine and rework parts
build and rework cable assemblies
Operate as a key element in a team of creative, independent individuals
Document work and create reports as needed
Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
5 years' experience (or 3 with an MS degree)
Excellent verbal, written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a team environment
United States Citizenship, or the legal ability to work in the U.S.

Nice to have:

Power electronics experience
Motor and/or motor drive experience
Software and/or firmware experience
