Job Description

As an Electrical Production Technician for British Engineering Services, you will assemble and test a range of specialised load monitoring products for global markets, ensuring each solution meets specification and quality standards. You will also support new and ongoing engineering projects, collaborating closely with electrical, mechanical, and software engineers.

Job Responsibility

  • Carry out electrical and mechanical assembly of load monitoring equipment
  • Assemble solutions to required specifications and quality standards
  • Interpret engineering drawings and product specifications
  • Perform soldering tasks across a variety of assemblies
  • Carry out test procedures
  • Investigate and diagnose defective products, completing repair and retest
  • Support continuous improvement across product platforms

Requirements

  • Experience in an electrical engineering or manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of load monitoring equipment advantageous but not essential
  • Experience of continuous improvement
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Clear and precise communication skills
  • A team player
