Job Description:

We are looking for an Electrical Planning Engineer to provide design and technical support for new connection works and low-carbon technology (LCT) assessments.

Job Responsibility:

  • Undertake network demand calculations and design Points of Connection (POCs) for new connections
  • Conduct network export calculations for embedded generation applications in line with ENA G98 & G99
  • Liaise with DNOs, ICPs, and internal teams to progress designs and manage customer requirements
  • Use systems and databases to maintain accurate records and support project delivery
  • Assist in improving processes and efficiency within the team
  • Ensure work is completed accurately, on time, and complies with company and regulatory standards
  • Participate in a standby rota as required

Requirements:

  • Academic qualifications in English, Mathematics, and at least one Science
  • Knowledge of health and safety legislation
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
