We are looking for an experienced Electrical Motor Mechanic to join our industrial field service team. In this hands-on role, you will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electric motors and motor-driven equipment that power cranes, hoists, and material handling systems in industrial facilities.
Job Responsibility:
Inspect, test, and maintain AC, DC, servo, and gear motors
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in motors and related equipment
Rewind, refurbish, or replace motor windings as needed
Perform preventive maintenance including lubrication, alignment, and vibration analysis
Install and commission new motors and motor-driven systems
Work with VFDs, motor starters, and control panels
Maintain detailed service records and reports
Ensure compliance with OSHA, LOTO, and NEC safety standards
Assist in troubleshooting connected systems such as cranes, hoists, and material handling equipment
Requirements:
Strong understanding of electrical motor operation and industrial systems
Hands-on experience with AC/DC motors, servo drives, VFDs, and motor control centers
Ability to disassemble, repair, rewind, and reassemble motors
Familiarity with mechanical alignment, bearings, and couplings
Comfortable working in industrial environments and at heights
Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for field service
