At our plant in Debrecen, we don’t just assemble cars; we make dreams of modern driving a reality, launching the production of the fully electric Neue Klasse models. We are looking for colleagues who want to be part of the renewal of the BMW brand. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician at BMW Group Plant Debrecen, you will play a key role in ensuring that the robotic production lines operate optimally. Through preventive maintenance, you’ll eliminate potential issues before they arise.

Job Responsibility:

Play a major role in setup and operation of a highly automated production line equipped with robots
participate in executing maintenance tasks as part of a team of 8-10 members
handle breakdowns, ensuring rapid restart of production equipment after unexpected downtime, and preventing future stoppages
collaborate with production team leaders and process technicians on maintenance, troubleshooting, and resolving production process issues
perform maintenance tasks, optimize production equipment, PLC programs, robots, and conveyor systems to prevent technical failures that could halt production

Requirements:

A secondary-level qualification in electrical engineering, electronics, automation, or mechatronics
experience as a production maintenance or service technician is an advantage, but not a requirement
willingness to work in multiple or rotating shifts
native Hungarian speaker
no foreign language skills required
attentive to detail, able to analyze problems systematically, and able to work responsibly both independently and in a team
strong communication skills
able to work in a team and open to continuous self-improvement
able to remain calm even when working at a fast pace, and calmly analyze and solve any problematic situation
