Job Description:

For a growing technical service provider in the construction equipment sector, we are recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join the team in Oostende. The technician will work in the workshop and be responsible for maintaining and testing tower cranes, fast-assembly cranes, and construction lifts before they are sent to worksites. Tasks include testing remote controls and motors and solving technical issues together with a small, experienced team.

Job Responsibility:

Perform maintenance and testing on tower cranes, fast-assembly cranes, and construction lifts
Inspect and ensure proper functioning of remote controls and motors
Identify and resolve technical issues in collaboration with the maintenance team
Ensure equipment is safe and fully operational before deployment
Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and procedure

Requirements:

Strong knowledge of electrical systems (e.g., frequency and motor control)
Experience as a technician/electrician/mechanic through work, training, or hobbies
Welding skills are an asset
Safety-focused mindset
Good understanding of Dutch
Willingness to follow on-the-job training (no prior experience with cranes required)
