Requirements

  • Accreditation to the 18th Edition of the New Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) or suitable cross-industry sector qualifications such as Level 3 Electrical Engineering skills
  • Relevant experience in providing electrical maintenance services within a large and complex environment
  • Basic to intermediate IT skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Substantial practical background in various building services disciplines (heating, hot water, ventilation, refrigeration, environmental systems, electrical power and distribution, public health)
  • Team player
  • Flexible within contracted hours
  • Positive 'can do' attitude
  • Intuitive and proactive nature
  • High moral standards and absolute integrity
  • Be a UK citizen, have own indefinite leave to remain (not through marriage), or an EEA citizen
  • Have a valid and in-date passport with no restrictions on stay in the UK
  • Have continuously resided in the UK for the past 3 years (no trips overseas longer than three months)
  • Must not have spent more than 3 months at any one time overseas during the previous 5 years
  • Must be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check, complete employer referencing for the previous 5 years, and vetting to the level of Counter Terrorist Checked (CTC)
  • Not currently bankrupt
