Job Description:

Are you ready to take on a hands-on role that makes a difference? A leading company in the Facilities Management industry is hiring an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in Tyne and Wear. In this position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring effective maintenance and operational efficiency, contributing directly to our service delivery and safety standards.

Job Responsibility:

Lead planned and reactive maintenance activities with a mix of hands-on and supervisory tasks
Ensure timely completion of Job Request forms and necessary permits for all works
Monitor and optimise plant performance through effective maintenance systems
Oversee subcontractor performance and make recommendations for their appointments
Promote compliance with Health & Safety legislation and safe working practices

Requirements:

C&G lvl 3 (2365) or equivalent in a relevant subject
At least 5 years of experience in building services and plant engineering, ideally in a maintenance craftsman role
Previous experience as an Authorised Person in disciplines like LV or Mechanical Services
Knowledge of Construction Design Management Regulations (CDM)
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
