Job Description

My client are looking to take on experienced multi skilled maintenance electrician to work on a large commercial site in the City. Salary £40,000 - £45,000 Static Site - Commercial building in the City of London Monday - Friday (Plenty of overtime available in evenings & weekend)

Job Responsibility

  • Planned maintenance and reactive maintenance on site
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution
  • Small installation
  • Generators
  • Air Conditioning Units/HVAC systems
  • BMS
  • Sprinkler & fire alarms
  • Plant room checks
  • AHU maintenance

Requirements

  • NVQ / C&G Level 3 in electrical installation and/or Level 3 electrical apprenticeship
  • 17th/18th edition
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in building services (commercial offices, hospitals, or critical environment preferable)

  • When filling the role as Lead Engineer, to deputise for Engineering Shift Manager

  • Timely reporting of any Health and Safety, Animal Welfare and Environmental Issues
  • Follow the communicated escalation route for unscheduled plant downtime and minimise downtime by following a good engineering practice
