Job Description:

Electrical Maintenance Engineer. The Essentials Location: Large commercial static site, London Salary: £46,000 - £47,000 per annum Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday (Rotating Weekly) Early: 07:00 - 16:00 Late: 10:00 - 19:00 Key Responsibilities: Executing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across all electrical systems. Fault-finding and repairing lighting, power distribution, and control systems. Assisting with minor installations and project works as required. Ensuring all work complies with the latest wiring regulations and health & safety standards. Maintaining accurate digital logs and reporting on system health. What We're Looking For: Qualified Pro: You hold relevant electrical qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) and your 18th Edition.

Job Responsibility:

  • Executing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across all electrical systems
  • Fault-finding and repairing lighting, power distribution, and control systems
  • Assisting with minor installations and project works as required

  • Ensure all activities are carried out within company and legislative health and safety guidelines, highlighting possible areas of improvement to the Engineering Shift Manager / Principal Engineer
  • Mentor to Level 1 to 3 Maintenance Engineers as well as Apprentices
  • Timely reporting of any Health and Safety, Animal Welfare and Environmental Issues
  • Follow the communicated escalation route for unscheduled plant downtime and minimise downtime by following a good engineering practice
