Electrical Maintenance Engineer

• Perform routine and reactive maintenance on injection moulding machines and auxiliary kit (chillers, robots, granulators, and compressors)
• Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues, including PLC control systems and electronic subsystems
• Identify and implement equipment upgrades to enhance performance and reliability
• Oversee the training and professional growth of a dedicated apprentice engineer
• Provide daily activity reports and weekly progress updates on improvement projects to ensure transparency and operational excellence
• Maintain strict adherence to safety standards, conducting risk assessments for all maintenance activities

• Proven background maintaining plastic injection moulding machinery or similar high-speed industrial equipment
• Strong expertise in electrical systems and PLC troubleshooting/programming
• Minimum Level 3 Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechatronics)
• Proficient in using CMMS or similar digital tools for maintenance logging and reporting
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the communication skills required to lead and mentor junior staff

Familiarity with mechanical systems is advantageous
