Job Description:

I'm helping a major FM service provider find a shift engineer on a large contract in central London. £50,000 + overtime (flexible with experience). 4 on 4 off days and nights. Large, static site. Further training and progression.

Job Responsibility:

  • Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
  • Carry out scheduled maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and HVAC equipment
  • Ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed to high standards and in compliance with regulations
  • Fault Diagnosis and Repair
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical faults on a variety of systems, including control panels, motors, pumps, and BMS
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergencies, minimising downtime and ensuring equipment is back in service as quickly as possible
  • Electrical Installations and Upgrades
  • Carry out electrical installations, modifications, and upgrades as required, adhering to relevant regulations and standards (BS7671)

Requirements:

  • NVQ or City and Guilds Level 3 electrical installations
  • 17th or 18th Edition
