Job Description:

As an Electrical Maintenance Apprentice, you’ll learn how to inspect, test, and maintain electrical systems and equipment. You’ll develop the skills to diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and ensure everything runs smoothly, often in high-stakes environments where reliability is non-negotiable. In the first half of your apprenticeship, you’ll train at our dedicated Skills Academy while attending college one day a week. You’ll build a strong foundation in electrical theory, cabling, and wiring infrastructure. Then, you’ll put that knowledge into practice through completing around 40 individual projects where you’ll design, install, repair, and maintain electrical systems. In the second half of the programme, you’ll join our qualified tradespeople on-site for six three-month placements. These rotations will give you exposure to the full range of our plant and facilities, from facility engineering and electrical utilities to design compliance and lightning protection systems.
