ATI is seeking to hire a positive, focused, safety minded Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Supervisor to join ATI's Specialty Rolled Products team in Brackenridge, PA. This is a day shift position with overtime available. As an E&I Supervisor, you will lead a team of highly skilled professionals responsible for effectively maintaining critical production equipment. The E&I Supervisor will be responsible for identifying and troubleshooting issues and assuring area electrical equipment, facilities, and utilities are optimally maintained for efficient, continuous, reliable and uninterrupted operation in-order-to meet production goals and objectives.
Job Responsibility:
Manage concurrent maintenance activities in order to effectively maintain industrial manufacturing equipment and facilities on a 7-day/week, 24-hour basis
Lead crew by developing, educating, and guiding in proper maintenance and schedule daily shift work to complete preventive maintenance activities, prioritize break-in work according to established critical equipment list
Ensure all supervised employees meet annual safety training requirements, continuing education for licensing, and adhere to all government regulations as well as Company policies and procedures
Oversee PM of valves & monitoring systems
Oversee the monitoring and calibration of temperature monitoring systems, thermocouples, vacuum instruments, PH probes, and pressure gauges
Respond to breakdowns and make repairs to minimize downtime
Provide direction to hourly employees
Provide training on equipment to other employees
Proficiency with plant mechanical and electrical infrastructure
Develop and maintain record keeping for spare parts used for maintaining equipment
Maintain and update blueprints
Enter hourly schedules and reconcile payroll discrepancies
Engage in continuous improvement process to drive equipment reliability
Requirements:
Five years of experience with maintenance of electrical equipment and instrumentation in an industrial, manufacturing, or military environment
Electrical and/or Instrumentation background
Three years of formal or informal leadership experience
Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with demonstrated ability to work independently or in a team-oriented management environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software Suite particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Experience with LEAN manufacturing practices and continuous improvement concepts
Experience supervising bargaining unit employees
Clear understanding of Quality documentation related to calibration and testing of thermocouples, PH probes, pressure and vacuum instrumentation
Familiar with P&ID loops and knowledge of symbols
Nice to have:
Degree in Engineering or a Maintenance-related discipline
Two years of experience utilizing computerized maintenance management systems and software
