The role is to deliver, assess and where necessary offer support to learners engaged in Electrical courses up to level 3, in accordance with the awarding body guidelines.
Job Responsibility:
Deliver and assess Electrical Engineering courses up to and including level three
Develop and maintain current Electrical Installation and Engineering course material including lesson plans and schemes of work
Assist in assessing, changing curricular needs and offers plans for improvement
Maintain effective and efficient record keeping procedures
Review course content and delivery methods regularly
Assume responsibility for meeting course and learner performance goals
Ensure all relevant evidence of learning is accurately documented
Provide feedback and support to learners
Assist in overall development of the training centre
Assist in delivery of course material outside of Electrical Installation & engineering
Prepare and assist in internal and external audits
Perform other duties as assigned by Lead Trainer
Provide pastoral care and support to students
Requirements:
Proven experience in Electrical Installation and Maintenance
Competent in domestic or industrial installation & maintenance
Ideally hold 18th Edition
Level three qualification in Electrical Installation and NVQ or AM2
Sound knowledge of Electrical Installation & Electrical engineering principles
Good numeracy, literacy and computer skills
Communicates effectively, both orally and in writing, with learners, employers and other professionals
Full driving licence
Nice to have:
Knowledge and experience on plant and process control systems
