What we do: Sustainability; News; Careers; The role of Electrical Installations Construction and Maintenance Specialist ensures the high-quality, safe and reliable construction, operation and maintenance of low- and medium-voltage electrical installations, as well as related equipment, control, protection, automation and monitoring systems.

Job Responsibility

Participating in the construction, installation, reconstruction and maintenance of low- and medium-voltage electrical installations
Installing, connecting and inspecting electrical panels, switchgear, transformers, circuit breakers, disconnectors, protection devices, cable lines and other electrical equipment
Carrying out activities related to the construction and maintenance of cable routes, cable connections, earthing and lightning protection systems
Checking electrical connections, insulation resistance, earthing systems, phase sequence, load conditions and other electrical parameters
Participating in commissioning, functional testing and start-up activities for electrical installations and equipment
Performing routine preventive maintenance, diagnostics and technical inspections in accordance with internal instructions, technical regulations and statutory requirements
Locating and eliminating faults in electrical, electronic, mechanical and communication components of power facilities
Performing repairs, replacement and adjustment of defective components, including circuit breakers, fuses, relays, current and voltage transformers, cables, terminals and other elements
Working with specialized measuring devices and tools, including multimeters, insulation testers, earthing resistance meters, thermal cameras, protection relay testers and others
Participating in planned technical shutdowns, emergency repairs and activities aimed at restoring the normal operation of electrical equipment
Maintaining the proper functioning of communication, control and auxiliary equipment related to the operation of electrical installations
Assisting with activities related to protection, automation, remote control and monitoring systems
Keeping records of preventive maintenance, repairs, measurements, inspections and completed technical activities
Preparing reports on completed activities, materials used, spare parts and identified technical issues
Documenting all performed activities in accordance with the requirements of the company, the client and the applicable regulatory framework
Complying with all safety rules when working with electrical installations, electrical equipment and live facilities, where applicable
Participating in occupational health and safety, fire safety, electrical safety and electrical installation work trainings
Coordinating activities with engineers, designers, dispatchers, installation teams, subcontractors and client representatives
Monitoring the proper condition of personal protective equipment, tools, measuring devices and emergency equipment
Taking responsibility for the proper operation, technical condition and safety of the assigned equipment
Ensuring the high-quality, safe and timely execution of assigned tasks

Requirements

Secondary vocational or higher technical education in electrical engineering, power engineering, electronics, automation or another relevant field
Knowledge of electrical engineering, low- and medium-voltage electrical installations, power facilities and protection systems
Skills in working with electrical installations and electrical equipment
Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams, single-line diagrams, installation drawings and technical documentation
Experience in the construction, operation, repair or maintenance of electrical installations, power facilities, industrial electrical equipment or similar systems
Experience in installing and connecting electrical panels, cable lines, transformers, protection and switching equipment will be considered an advantage
Experience working with professional measuring instruments and tools
Computer literacy – MS Office
experience with specialized software for monitoring, diagnostics or technical documentation will be considered an advantage
Electrical safety qualification group IV for work on electrical installations and networks up to and above 1000 V, in accordance with the applicable regulatory requirements
Knowledge of and compliance with safety rules for work in electrical installations, including occupational health and safety and fire safety requirements
Analytical thinking, responsibility, precision and ability to work in a dynamic environment
Ability to work in a team and respond in emergency situations
Ability to coordinate with engineers, dispatchers, installation teams, clients and external subcontractors
Willingness to work outdoors, in indoor electrical rooms and at various sites
Willingness to work in the field and travel within the country
Category B driving licence
Willingness to participate in extraordinary activities and emergency repairs, including on-call duty when necessary
Certificates, trainings or practical experience in the field of electrical installations, power facilities, protection systems and automation will be considered an advantage

Nice to have
