Job Description

Our client, a prestigious, internationally renowned engineering consultancy, is looking for experienced Electrical and I&C Site Engineering professionals, ideally with prior power plant (or similar large industrial plant) construction project experience to work as Electrical / I&C Supervisors in support of their client’s delivery of their UK nuclear power station construction project. These roles will be associated with the delivery of the turbine buildings for the project. Candidates must possess proven experience in site construction execution and managing of subcontractors.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensure effective execution of electrical and I&C erection and turnover to commissioning
  • Optimize the use of allocated resources
  • Effective management of the subcontractors on all aspects of site electrical and I&C erection.

Requirements

  • University degree in electrical engineering discipline (comparable with bachelor/master) or proven level or relevant experience
  • Appropriate formal internal training in power plant construction and engineering
  • Appropriate training in leadership and management
  • Significant previous experience working in power plant construction projects would be ideal. Experienced gained on other large industrial plant construction projects could be acceptable
  • Experience in site construction execution and managing of subcontractors
  • General knowledge of power plant systems
  • Thorough knowledge within the discipline
  • Commercial awareness
