We have an opening for an Electrical Hardware Design Engineer to join a cross-disciplinary team responsible for developing weapons and navigation system hardware. This role includes schematic design and layout of hardware with FPGAs, DDR RAM (DDR3, DDR4, LPDDR4) memory interfaces, and digital interfaces (e.g. I2C, SPI, SDIO).
Job Responsibility:

Requirements:
U.S. citizenship is required
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field
Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience
An understanding of the hardware development process throughout the lifecycle of a program, including design for manufacturing and design for test
Knowledge of Siemens Xpedition or similar tools for schematic entry, constraint definition, and signal integrity/power integrity analysis
Experience designing PCBs/PWBs, including using advanced materials, packaging techniques, and high-speed interfaces
Problem-solving and critical thinking skills, breaking down complex technical problems logically and finding efficient solutions
Cross-disciplinary communication skills, working effectively with software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams
Team collaboration, offering and receiving feedback constructively, and mentoring junior engineers when needed
Nice to have:
schematic capture and layout design of digital subsystems and components
use of lab test equipment including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment
experience designing PCBs/PWBs using Siemens Xpedition or similar tools
