Electrical estimator

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for labour, materials, plant, and subcontractors
• Conduct quantity take-offs and interpret complex electrical/mechanical designs and specifications
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive, compliant pricing
• Identify risks and opportunities to develop pricing strategies that hit margin targets
• Ensure a seamless transition from the winning phase to the delivery phase with project teams

• Proven experience in E&M estimating within infrastructure, water, industrial, or energy sectors
• Proficiency in Bluebeam, CostX, Planswift, or advanced Excel
• A trade background, Diploma, or Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering is highly regarded
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot scope gaps and constructability issues
• The ability to represent the business professionally at tender briefings and client meetings
