Job Description:

Our Client is a long-established electrical contractor, looking for an Electrical Estimator to join their friendly and supportive team. Job Responsibility:

Preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates based on drawings, specifications, and project documentation using estimating software
Electrical design and electrical estimating as the electrical estimator
Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors, and the Purchasing Manager to gather and verify information for estimates.
Reviewing and evaluating subcontractor bids and proposals for competitiveness and compliance
Monitoring project costs and providing updates and recommendations for cost control
Building and maintaining strong client relationships and following up on tenders to help strengthen existing partnerships.

Requirements:

Qualified Gold Card electrician (preferred) or similar electrician qualifications
Minimum 3+ years’ experience electrical estimating within the electrical sector
Experience using an electrical estimating system
Confident communicator, comfortable working with clients, suppliers, and colleagues
Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and organisational skills
Positive can-do attitude and a desire to grow and progress within a long-standing business
