Requirements

5 + years of estimating experience in the Electrical industry with a proven track record
Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and other construction documents
Knowledge of different types of Electrical systems and their components
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Trimble Accu-bid and LiveCount and Bluebeam products.

Job Responsibility

Accurately estimate plan and spec Electrical projects using estimating software
Analyze blueprints, specifications, and quotes
Prepare labor and material estimates as well as subcontractor pricing
Prepare and submit proposals
Establish and maintain client and vendor relationships
Perform site surveys and attend pre-bid walkthroughs
Prepare submittal packages
Interact with the sales and project management teams to ensure all projects are performed under budget and according to plans and specifications

Prepare and submit competitive project bids following established guidelines
Manage awarded projects and provide assistance in project management when not involved in estimating tasks
Interior and exterior lighting repairs and upgrades
