Job Description:

We are looking for an Electrical Engineering Intern to join our Prototyping Team Spring 2026 (Jan 5th - June12th). In this hands-on role, you’ll support hardware development for our humanoid robots by contributing to electrical assembly, testing, and design integration. You’ll work closely with engineers and designers to build critical components of our next robot revision. This is a full-time, in-person internship based in Palo Alto, with the potential to convert into a full-time offer for the right candidate.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform PCB rework and assemble custom PCBs
  • Execute fine-pitch soldering and functional testing of prototype components
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to resolve integration and fit-function challenges
  • Contribute to the design and development of next-generation robotic systems
  • Create and edit CAD models for 3D printing or milling
  • Document print settings, test results, and prototyping workflows
  • Help maintain print lab organization and inventory

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience in electrical engineering or electronics prototyping
  • Basic CAD proficiency (SolidWorks, Onshape, etc.)
  • Currently pursuing a degree in engineering or a related field
  • Comfortable with physical work including setup, assembly, and post-processing
  • Able to work full-time on-site in Palo Alto
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Nice to have:

  • Experience with robotics, mechatronics, or general hardware projects
  • Familiarity with both electrical and mechanical prototyping workflows
