Job Description:

Prime Engineering, Inc. is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team in Huntington, WV. You will be expected to create and/or review all electrical engineering design plans, performing complex calculations, designing, and constructing electrical systems and their components, liaising with other engineers, and maintaining relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders. You should be able to build reliable, quality electrical systems within the project budget.

Job Responsibility:

Building & analyzing technical drawings, interpreting specifications, and determining the electrical requirements of a given project
Working with engineers of other disciplines to ensure project coordination
Interfacing with engineering clients to ensure overall customer satisfaction
Managing and monitoring all assigned electrical projects
Ensuring proper adherence to health and safety codes
Completing detailed technical reviews on all electrical drawings and projects
Using CAD & REVIT software to draft designs
Diagnosing problems and troubleshooting equipment
Ensuring all deadlines and budgetary requirements are met
Mentoring junior engineer staff

Requirements:

BS degree in electrical engineering from an ABET accredited program
Minimum 3 years’ experience in electrical design
Experience with CAD software and MS Office
Clear understanding of the NEC and industry standards
Experience in project management preferred
PE Preferred
