As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, testing, and support of electrical systems and components critical to our cutting-edge aerospace technologies. Job Responsibility
Design, develop, and validate electrical systems and wiring harnesses in compliance with applicable standards and customer requirements
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, systems, and software engineers to integrate electrical solutions effectively
Support prototype build and testing activities, analysing test data and implementing design improvements as necessary
Prepare detailed technical documentation including schematics, specifications, and test reports
Conduct failure analysis and troubleshoot electrical issues to ensure system performance and reliability
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and emerging technologies relevant to aerospace electrical engineering
Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and promote best engineering practices across projects
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline
Proven experience in electrical design and development, preferably within aerospace, defence, or related engineering sectors
Strong understanding of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and circuit design principles
Familiarity with industry standards such as IPC, MIL-STD, or equivalent aerospace regulations
Competency in using engineering tools such as CAD software and electrical simulation packages
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Self-motivated with the ability to manage time and priorities efficiently
Nice to have
Experience working on aerospace or defence projects
Knowledge of EMC/EMI considerations and testing procedures
Professional engineering accreditation (e.g., IET Chartered Engineer status) is an advantage
Familiarity with project management methodologies and quality assurance processes
