We are seeking a Electrical Engineer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a motivated engineer with 1-6 years of experience who is ready to take on more responsibility in project design, coordination, and mentorship. You’ll work closely with project managers, clients, and internal teams to deliver high-quality electrical systems for a variety of building types.
Job Responsibility
Perform electrical system design and documentation for power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems across a range of project types
Develop construction documents, calculations, and technical narratives with minimal supervision
Apply firm standards, applicable codes (NEC, IECC, etc.), and best practices to produce high-quality, consistent deliverables
Coordinate with internal project teams, including mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and technology disciplines
Participate in QA/QC reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of department standards and processes
Collaborate with project managers to meet schedules, budgets, and quality expectations
As appropriate, serve as project engineer or project manager on select projects, depending on experience and fit
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Ability to contribute to the development of construction documents in the AEC industry
Familiarity with common building electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, emergency systems, grounding, and fire alarm
Ability to work independently while maintaining responsiveness and collaboration within a team environment
Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
