Job Description

We are seeking a Electrical Engineer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a motivated engineer with 1-6 years of experience who is ready to take on more responsibility in project design, coordination, and mentorship. You’ll work closely with project managers, clients, and internal teams to deliver high-quality electrical systems for a variety of building types.

Job Responsibility

  • Perform electrical system design and documentation for power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems across a range of project types
  • Develop construction documents, calculations, and technical narratives with minimal supervision
  • Apply firm standards, applicable codes (NEC, IECC, etc.), and best practices to produce high-quality, consistent deliverables
  • Coordinate with internal project teams, including mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and technology disciplines
  • Participate in QA/QC reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of department standards and processes
  • Collaborate with project managers to meet schedules, budgets, and quality expectations
  • As appropriate, serve as project engineer or project manager on select projects, depending on experience and fit

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Ability to contribute to the development of construction documents in the AEC industry
  • Familiarity with common building electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, emergency systems, grounding, and fire alarm
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining responsiveness and collaboration within a team environment
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
