Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a Facilities Management team. In this role, you will be the frontline technical expert ensuring the operational excellence of iconic department stores across the West Midlands.

Job Responsibility:

  • Execute PPM schedules including emergency lighting tests, fire alarm checks, and distribution board inspections to NICEIC standards
  • Respond swiftly to electrical failures, power outages, and equipment breakdowns to minimize commercial downtime
  • Troubleshoot building management systems (BMS), HVAC controls, lighting arrays, and power distribution
  • Supervise specialized third-party contractors during major plant repairs or upgrades
  • Maintain rigorous safety standards, conducting risk assessments and ensuring all work complies with IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)

Requirements:

  • Fully electrically qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
