Requirements

Bachelor of Electrical Engineering
Minimum seven (7) years in the design of engineering systems
Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Proficient with MS Office suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Knowledge of but not limited to the following
service utility coordination, power distribution, fire alarm, UPS, emergency power systems, lighting, and low voltage infrastructure
Familiarity with annual energy use projections and analysis
Conduct surveys, studies, and site investigations
Prepare engineering reports

Job Responsibility

Design of electrical systems across a variety of markets including Healthcare, Educational, Municipal, Mixed use and Industrial facilities
Coordinate and work closely with a multidiscipline design team throughout the entire life cycle of projects from planning stages through construction documents
Development of contract plans, specifications, and supporting engineering calculations

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
PE (professional engineer) certification (NJ & NY Preferred)
Minimum ten (10) years of relevant work experience
Proficient with computer-aided design and drafting software such as AutoCAD
