We deliver major projects across energy, defence infrastructure, and resources sectors. Job Responsibility:

  • Lead electrical design across control systems, load flow studies, arc flash analysis, earthing design, and AutoCAD deliverables for diverse industries
  • Supervise and sign off on electrical design work
  • Handle design deliverables including load flow studies, short circuit analysis, circuit breaker selectivity, arc flash studies, earthing design, device selection, IO lists, and BOMs
  • Draft and markup drawings in AutoCAD Electrical
  • Develop internal standards
  • Ensure all work meets Australian Standards and client requirements
  • Conduct site inspections, FAT, SAT, fault finding
  • Work directly with clients on design decisions
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Systems Engineers, and the sales team
  • Mentor junior engineers and lead technical discussions

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering
  • 5+ years in industrial automation electrical design with proven delivery on large projects
  • RPEQ registration
  • Experience with Siemens, Rockwell, or Schneider Electric control systems
  • Technical leadership experience and enthusiasm for innovation
  • Australian driver's licence and full working rights

Nice to have:

  • Lightning protection, HV protection, emergency lighting, or high-rise electrical design
  • ETAP, SKM Power Tools, or PowerCAD experience
