Job Responsibility
Perform conventional electrical engineering design, analysis, and calculations
Develop, review, and support engineering design packages
Provide construction, field, and project engineering support
Support facility design, operation, and maintenance activities
Apply engineering technology and tools to deliver high-quality work products
Interface with stakeholders across disciplines in a fast-paced environment
Provide system integration within and across disciplines
May lead projects and supervise the work of others
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
Minimum of 6 years of relevant engineering experience
Working knowledge of industry, regulatory, and DOE/NNSA codes, standards, and criteria relevant to electrical engineering
Knowledge of DOE and DoD facility standards including NQA-1, IBC, NFPA, and NEC
Experience facilitating and developing engineering design packages
Familiarity with engineering deliverables including construction documents
Experience with computer-aided design/drafting software or markup tools
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q Clearance
