Electrical DP & Critical Systems Engineer

• Prepare documentation and detailed reports for FMEA/FMECA, proving trials, DP annual and 5-year trials, audits, ASOG/WSOG development, and gap analyses
• Conduct vessel assurance and audits across DP and other critical systems
• Provide specialist expertise in electrical DP engineering and control systems, ensuring compliance with statutory rulings and industry guidance (IMO, IMCA, MTS, OCIMF)
• Support ship design projects, technical reviews, and maritime studies
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and team members to ensure project success and customer satisfaction
• Assist in preparing tenders and proposals for DP services and offshore projects
• Contribute to the continual development of DP business lines in the region

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent seagoing electrical qualifications
• Minimum 10 years’ professional technical experience, with advanced knowledge of DP systems and associated control equipment
• Strong ability to interpret complex manuals/drawings and produce Visio diagrams
• Excellent technical writing and reporting skills
• High competency in Microsoft Office and IT systems
• Knowledge of industry rules and guidance (IMO, IMCA, MTS, OCIMF)

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines under pressure
• Flexible approach to working hours and offshore site attendance
