Job Description

An Electrical Designer who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business.Join us and you’ll have the chance to work on projects including semiconductor manufacturing, data center facilities, and other state of the art manufacturing facilities.

Job Responsibility

  • Perform computer-aided drafting and design of electrical power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems for advanced facilities
  • Create layouts, sketches, 2D/3D modeling, and electronic document files using AutoCAD and Revit MEP
  • Develop staffing plans based on deliverables and project schedule
  • Gain familiarity with client’s expectations, scope, budget and schedule
  • Mentor subordinates and provide guidance to less experienced designers/drafters

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • At least 8 years of Revit/BIM design experience
  • Team leadership interaction experience
  • Experience with electrical engineering power distribution design projects, mission critical facilities experience is a plus
  • Understanding of electrical power system equipment/components such as Switchgears, transformers, panelboards, generators, UPS, etc.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Project lead experience
  • Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas
  • Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams
  • Passionate about buildings and construction

Nice to have

  • Associate’s Degree in relevant field
  • 3 years of semiconductor experience
  • Exposure to NEC and electrical design requirements
