Job Description:

Position Summary: Under direct supervision of a senior engineer.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide electrical conceptual and detailed designs, methods and materials specifications, electrical equipment administration, building code compliance, cost estimating, feasibility studies
  • Support of procurement and construction activities
  • Perform site inspections and have direct interaction with clients

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years electrical engineering design experience is required
  • Candidate must have experience with electrical power distribution, sizing of electrical equipment and materials such as cable and conduit, motor control, lighting and grounding design
  • Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, or related field
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, electrical and building codes, NEC, IEEE, NFPA and MS office
  • Candidate must be able to travel, domestically & internationally, to other M3 offices and project sites to provide field support for new and ongoing projects
  • Must be able to work in a project team and maintain a project schedule, be a self-starter, detailed-oriented and have exceptional organizational skills
  • Must be able to interact with clients and co-workers in a professional and respectful manner and work in a team environment sharing roles and responsibilities, with limited supervision
  • Valid passport or the ability to obtain one is required

  • Bilingual English / Spanish abilities
  • Experience as a discipline lead for multidisciplinary design and construction projects
