The Boeing Government Training Engineering (GTE) Hardware Design Engineering team in Hazelwood, MO, is seeking an Associate or Experienced Electrical Design Engineer (Level 2 or 3). In this role you will design, develop, manufacture, and maintain support equipment for a range of military rotorcraft systems. You will also act as the project lead for each device—preparing proposals, managing hardware build and checkout, coordinating with Program Management and Production, and delivering status updates to management and other stakeholders.
Job Responsibility:
Define and document moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements
Create hardware, software, and interface specifications
Perform testing and validation to confirm designs meet operational and functional needs
Support supplier oversight to ensure integration and compliance with system requirements
Troubleshoot and resolve issues for deployed hardware and software throughout the product lifecycle
Investigate emerging technologies for potential business applications
Prepare proposals for each design project
Act as Scrum Master
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
2+ years of experience in the design and analysis of basic electronic/electrical systems
Nice to have:
3+ years of higher education and/or related work experience
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience following the Master’s degree
At least 5 years of experience in the design and analysis of basic electronic/electrical systems
Project Management experience
