Job Description

Based in Monza, Italy, you will join our Automation Development team, responsible for designing advanced control systems and IoT solutions for Alfa Laval’s core products and customized projects. In this role, you will be involved in the electrical design and maintenance of automation systems, contributing to high-quality, safe, and efficient solutions.

Job Responsibility

  • Creating electrical design for machines’ automation cabinets
  • Reviewing customer automation inputs and project specifications
  • Estimating budget hours based on scope
  • Performing electrical design calculations
  • Participating in reviews and quality processes
  • Coordinating design activity planning
  • Collaborating across teams
  • Supporting commissioning, test, and fault tracing

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering
  • Proficiency in electrical design tools such as ePlan P8 or similar
  • Experience with marine approvals, verification, and documentation
  • Experience with ATEX and hazardous area electrical design
  • Strong skills in electrical engineering drawings
  • Background in project work and product development
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Italian
  • Valid driver's license

Project management experience is a plus
