Job Description

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will join a global Automation Development team, contributing to advanced control systems and IoT solutions for core products. This role involves designing and maintaining automation systems in an Agile environment throughout the product lifecycle, collaborating closely with international teams.

Job Responsibility

  • Electrical design of automation control panels
  • Performing technical calculations and creating documentation
  • Managing product specifications in PDM system
  • Utilizing tools like ePlan Electric P8 and Pro Panel
  • Developing modularized designs and specifications
  • Collaborating with cross-site teams
  • Continuously engaging in department development to improve processes and quality

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering
  • Advanced knowledge of electrical design for machines following relevant CE requirements like EN ISO 60204-1
  • Advanced skills in ePlan Electric P8
  • Good practical experience in electrical/instrumentation, sensors and measurements, and fault tracing
  • Fluency in written and spoken English

Nice to have

  • Good knowledge of marine approval, verification, and relevant documentation
  • Good project management experience
  • Advanced knowledge of safety design following EN ISO 13849
  • Advanced skills in conducting risk assessments
