Requirements

Experience in Medium and High voltage systems for Protection & Control / SCADA
3+ years experience in power industry (Power plants, HV/MV substations) and large-scale construction projects for Protection & Control/SCADA
Proficient working knowledge of AutoCAD
Good background in electrical systems, familiar with international and European standards
Working knowledge of at least one power systems analysis software (DIgSILENT PowerFactory, ETAP, PSS/E, PSCAD, EMTP)
Fluency in English
Problem solving mentality
High level of personal initiative and team spirit

Job Responsibility

Preparation of technical specifications in line with projects technical requirements
Development of technical studies, drawings, schematics, cable lists, wiring diagrams
Drafting RfQs for equipment
Evaluation of technical offers from suppliers
Technical review and coordination of the deliverable design documents from suppliers
Meetings with suppliers/customer abroad
Participation in factory acceptance tests
Technical support to other company departments (proposals, erection, commissioning, etc.)
Technical review of documentation prepared by the team members
Technical coordination with team members

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering
Electrical Licensing is desirable
5+ years experience in PV, BESS, MV-HV electrical installations as Design Engineer
Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel)
Working knowledge of Autocad, PVSyst, Electrical Design
Fluency in English is essential
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure

Job Responsibility

Involvement in all development stages of PV and BESS projects
Liaising with the engineering team in contract finalization of the engineering/technical annexes
Controlling scheme review as well as grids regulations review by liaising with local consultants for projects around the world aiming to derive the scope of supply and scope of works
Defining the equipment specifications and schedules for commissioning
Identifying the sources of potential problems, proactively taking preventive measures to avoid any project risks as well as determining response actions to mitigate any negative impact
Assisting with drafting the scope of work and estimating the respective project budgets for PV and BESS projects
