Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) seeks an Electrical Design and Test Engineer to join our Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3) Electrical Engineering Capability Team in Huntsville, AL. We design, sustain, and upgrade next generation electronics concepts, and we support production and special test equipment design for increasing capacity requirements.
Job Responsibility:
Support electrical design activities for PAC-3 production, sustainment, and capacity assurance contracts
Develop detailed design solutions to component and part obsolescence issues
Develop, document, and maintain electronic and electrical system requirements according to customer desires and contract requirements
Develop of statements-of-work (SOWs) and technical performance specifications
Develop test plans and test procedures. Support test events
Support various methods of testing and analysis
Support design and production to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements
Support Root CauseCorrective Action (RCCA) investigations, troubleshooting, and resolutions
Requirements:
1+ years of related experience
Laboratory environment or electronic test and troubleshooting experience
Electrical Engineering experience
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
An interim or final U.S. Secret Clearance post-start is required, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
Nice to have:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in electrical engineering or computer engineering
Knowledge of CCA design or PCB design processes
Circuit analysis experience using tools such as LTSpice, PSpice, SIMETRIX
Experience utilizing lab electronic testing tools (Digital Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Power Supplies, Function Generators, ...)
Experience developing test procedure and test process documentation
