The Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Design and Analysis Engineer (Experienced-Senior) for the Flight Simulation Labs Hardware Interface Systems team located in Berkeley, MO. The Flight Simulation Labs organization has expertise supporting marketing, design, development, integration, test and training objectives for Boeing military aircraft. As an Electrical Design and Analysis Engineer (Experienced-Senior), you will create and implement solutions to complex problems that support design, development, and execution of simulation environments in development labs for the F-15 Israel program. This position will support the project execution for the full product design life cycle including: requirements, design, acceptance test procedures, and associated engineering maintenance support. This position is expected to be 100% onsite and engaged with our customers and the product.
Job Responsibility:
Works with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements
Analyzes and translates requirements into system, hardware and software designs and interface specifications
Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements
Monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements
Solves problems concerning and provides other support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle
Research specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
Level 3: 5+ years of work related experience and a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of work related experience and technical education
Level 4: 9+ years of work related experience and a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of work related experience and technical education
Nice to have:
Electrical engineering experience
Experience in avionics, electrical, and/or a mission systems role
Experience developing or integrating avionics or mission systems
Experience in Agile Software Development and JIRA
Experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools
