Job Responsibility

Monitor and maintain data centre infrastructure, including HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and reliability of all systems
Respond promptly to facility-related issues and emergencies, providing timely and effective solutions and reacting to incidents and events impacting critical infrastructure availability
Maintain a working understanding of EOPs and escalation procedures to ensure effective first-line facility support
Proactively perform basic maintenance tasks autonomously and perform intrusive maintenance tasks under supervision
Collaborate with other team members and departments to support data centre operations and projects
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment status, and inventory
Manage subcontractor repairs and documentation
Contribute to the creation of operational procedures and processes such as RAMS, MOPs, and SOPs
Provide first-level response and assist with root cause analysis for facility issues and rack-level events, acting as an escalation point for junior team members

To provide backup as engineering shift relief cover in the event of annual leave, training or other absence within the engineering team. Ensuring minimum staffing arrangements are always maintained and covering your opposite shift team members when required
Accurately reporting of all completed work orders, including precise recording of any critical spares/stock items used during these tasks
